He admits he doesn't know many things, but finds it fascinating as new things are discovered.

I agree. I find it refreshing that the 'new' testament agrees with the 'old'.  

And I also agree with loving to have mysteries unfold.

They have such 'binding' value as we open the Bible to seek out these mysteries.


Science is study based upon observation, identification, and description to arrive at facts. We can observe God's Word, identify truth, and describe it to others ...as fact.

I don't personally claim to know many facts, other than what everyone can know by reading the Bible.  Wisdom is not only admitting that others know more than I do ...it's also acknowledging that no person knows more than God.

I may have the same number of teeth in my mouth as my dentist does (unless he plays hockey in his spare time).  But, if we do have the same number of teeth, it doesn't mean I know as much about teeth as my dentist does. And I know better not to bite off more than I can chew.
